Founder
Bae Sangah.
Educator, curriculum designer, and founder of LAB English.

English is not a subject for exams. It is a language for meeting the world. LAB English began to help learners understand a wider world and express themselves in it with confidence.
After more than a decade in classrooms and curriculum rooms, Bae Sangah founded LAB English to publish the ideas she wished more programs would take seriously: reading as the engine of fluency, curriculum as authorship, and assessment as a way for learners to see themselves.
Her work today lives in the ideas β writing on curriculum, advising schools and publishers, and building the learning resources that make up the LAB English library.
βThe best English lessons look, from the outside, like almost nothing at all. A book, a notebook, a quiet room, and time.β
